SE HABLA ESPAÑOL-NUESTRA OFCINA SE PUEDE ASISTIR CON SUS CASOS DE FAMILIA HOY

SPOUSAL SUPPORT OR ALIMONY

When you get a divorce, one spouse may be required to pay spousal support to the other. The amount of support required will be based on each spouse’s ability to earn money, as well as the length of the marriage. If you are concerned about spousal support in your divorce case, I can help you understand how California guidelines will apply.

About Spousal Support

Spousal support in California may be ordered temporarily while a divorce is pending. Once the divorce is final, spousal support may be ordered permanently. In cases where one or both spouses experience a change in circumstances, spousal support orders may be modified.

How I Can Help

If you believe spousal support may be ordered in your case, I can help you prepare for this possibility and make sure the order is fair. I can also help you petition the court for spousal support modifications, and I can assist with spousal support enforcement when necessary.
